Is Lemmi really free?
Yes. All 5000 words, the level test, every exercise and smart reviews are free, with no ads. Lemmi Pro is an optional subscription for those who want more.
What is Lemmi Pro?
An optional subscription in the iOS and Android apps: word collections beyond the 5000 (phrasal verbs, prepositions, prepositional phrases, idioms, English for business, IT and medicine), practice with typing or listening only, a prepositions trainer and detailed statistics with an export for Anki. It works on the web too with the same account, and you can cancel any time in your store settings.
What level is it for?
From beginner (A1) to advanced (C1). The placement test finds your level, so you don’t spend time on words you already know.
Does it work without the internet?
Yes. Lessons work offline; when you sign in, your progress syncs between your devices.
Do I need an account?
No, you can start right away. An account keeps your progress safe and syncs it between devices.
Where do the words come from?
From open research word lists: NGSL, NAWL and CEFR-J. Sources and licences.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Settings → Privacy. Without the app: delete an account.
